The Danish Veterinary and Food Administration

The Danish Veterinary and Food Administration, DVFA, deals with food health and safety issues from farm to fork.

The head office is situated  north of Copenhagen and handles development, co-ordination and the formation of rules and regulations.

Food control and veterinary inspections are handled by three regional veterinary and food control centres. The regional centres are local information centres for food related topics; supplying information and giving advice to consumers, livestock owners, businesses and practising veterinarians.
