In September, the UN holds its first summit on food systems - the UN summit on food systems. Denmark has a strong position regarding the food waste area, healthy and sustainable foods, the work against antibiotic resistance and deforestation, and these are the tracks we are pursuing after our national summit, the World Food Summit.
The UN Food Systems Summit launch important initiatives for a healthier, more sustainable and fair food system. The summit will focus on how we can all work together to transform how the world produces, consumes and thinks about food. Science, politicians, the health sector, farmers, climate activists and many more are trying to take part in the positive development of our worlds food system.
